Discovering Latin America Visual Arts

One of the most inspiring and exciting areas of artistic expression in Latin America is in the field of Visual Arts.

Last March, we organised our first event in this area. Discovering Latin America presented an exclusive gala night with Fernando Botero, one of the most important artists alive, who returned to exhibit in London after 25 years.

We would like to continue showcasing contemporary Latin American artists in the UK such as: Cildo Meireles (Brazil), Claudio Goldini (Argentina), Doris Salcedo (Colombia), Francis Alÿs (Mexico), Gabriel Orozco (Mexico), Tarsila do Amaral (Brazil), amongst others; either through individual or thematic exhibitions.

We are currently creating a new team of leaders and volunteers to develop our future plans in this area. Please contact us if you would like to contribute.
