Discovering Latin America Visual Arts
One of the most inspiring and exciting areas of artistic expression in Latin America is in the field of Visual Arts.
It is our mission to showcase the work of contemporary Latin American artists working in the UK in order to highlight the exceptional talent and diverse influences that these artists represent.
Our work started in 2008 with an exclusive gala night with Fernando Botero, one of the most important artists alive, who returned to exhibit in London after 25 years.
For our first event of 2010 we are delighted to be working with ceramicist Nicholas Arroyave-Portela to present an exclusive auction alongside his exhibition ‘Todo Sobre Mi Padre’ at London’s Contemporary Applied Arts gallery. The exhibition runs from 23 July and coincides with the 200th anniversary of Colombia’s independence from Spain. Read more about our exciting programme of events.
We are currently developing a full programme of events for this year and next. Please continue checking back for more information or contact us if you would like to contribute.
