Developed as part of the Sundance Screenwriters Lab, award-winning filmmaker Paz Fábrega's first feature follows a young couple on winter holiday on the Costa Rican coast. Mariana and Rodrigo drive to the coast where he has to sell a property. There, they find a young girl Karina, late at night and in the middle of nowhere. She tells them she ran away from home. They try to help her but Karina is unforthcoming and in the morning has disappeared, gone back to rejoin her family. The brief encounter has a disorienting effect on Mariana. The film won the 2010 Tiger Award at the International Film festival, Rotterdam.
