Country background:
Bolivia is located in the centre of South America bordering on Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Despite being a rich country in minerals and energy resources, Bolivia is one of the poorest countries in South America. The country has the second – largest reserves of natural gas in the Southern Continent.
Organization:
This NGO raises funds to assist medical centres serving the impoverished, charitable organisations distributing clothes to children living on the streets, and centres providing comfort and support to abused children to help them become contributing members of society.
Project Overview:
Focused on our mission of helping children to have better lives and brighter futures, the funds raised for Discovering Latin America was donated to 100 children with special needs in Tarija, Bolivia.

Event where money was raised: Second DLA Film Festival, we raised £7,600 and welcomed 1300 visitors.
