Welcome to the 6th DLA Film Festival!

From 22nd November to 2nd December 2007, the 6th Discovering Latin America Film Festival will showcase 40 films in a 10-days celebration, covering four venues around Central London: Odeon Covent Garden, Odeon Panton Street, the Ritzy Cinema and Tate Modern. The Film festival will feature internationally acclaimed films, documentaries, Q&A sessions with Directors and Film & Culture events.

  • Opening Gala Night presented by Mexican actor Diego Luna on November 22nd
  • Q&A with director /actor Diego Luna and producer Pablo Cruz after the UK premier of J.C. Chavez documentary on November 23rd
  • Q&A with Peruvian director Augusto Tamayo and producer Nathalie Hendrichx after the UK premier of Crossing a shadow on November 23rd
  • Q&A with director Richard Collings and journalist Stephen Smith after the presentation of BBC’s documentary The Big, Fat Art of Fernando Botero on November 26th and November 29th
  • Q&A with Native Voice after documentary We are the Indians on November 28th
  • Mexican documentary Maquilapolis, City of Factories; co-presented with Human Rights Watch Film Festival on November 29th
