Documentaries

To explore realities and attempt to understand them is a human tendency. This year our documentary programme invites you to open your mind and senses to the realities that filmmakers create for us.

Once again the DLA Film Festival is offering a diverse programme of seven documentaries that will take you into places and the lives of people that are usually invisible to the rest of the world.

We are thrilled to again have our partners the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival, this year promoting the powerful and moving documentary My Life Inside. For lovers of Mexican popular culture and cinema, the picturesque wrestlers come to rescue their world in Super Amigos. Also in this edition we highlight what seems to be a new tendency in Latin American documentary film making, films that take the artistic and poetic narrative of the visual image: Drifter and Accident from Brazil, Desert Memory from Chile, and The Eternal Object a co-production between Canada and Cuba, will enhance the portrayal of all these different realities.

Please allow the Latin American talent to open your awareness in a different way into different realities.
