As part of the DLA Film Festival’s new initiatives, and wishing to convey Latin talent and spirit at its fullest, we believe that it is not necessary to only look to the other side of the Atlantic to get the flair of the Latin American moving image.
Many Latin Americans resident in London and the UK are actively creating and producing films here. This section is called Local Talent, and it aims to be the space where Latin Americans involved at different levels of filmmaking find a platform to have their work exhibited and promoted in London.
Here we offer a selection of works from some of the talented Latin Americans who have temporarily or permanently settled within these shores. We will welcome them in the presentation of their works.
